Engineering Jobs Network

What is the Engineering Jobs Network?

Engineering Central owns the Engineering Jobs Network. This is a network of about 200 websites devoted to Engineering Jobs. These websites cover every state and every major metropolitan area in the US. If you post a job on Engineering Central it is automatically posted to the State and City sites the job is relevant to. For example, if the job is located in Des Moines, Iowa, it will be posted on:

Des Moines

and

Iowa

If you only specify a state for your job, the job will only be shown on the State site it is relevant to. For example, if the job is in Florida, it will be on:

Florida

Jobs from Engineering Central appear above all the other jobs!

  1. Hot Jobs posted on Engineering Central are at the top.
  2. Priority and Standard Jobs posted on Engineering Central appear below the Hot Jobs.
  3. All the other jobs are below this. These are jobs we bring in from an aggregator. At present we are using Indeed.com as a source for these other jobs.

Take-home message:

Post a job on Engineering Central, preferably a Hot Job! Not only will your job appear on the # 1 Engineering Jobs website, it will be featured on the relevant site or sites on the Engineering Jobs Network. Besides this, you get resume access for no extra cost.

Important! Put the major City Name in the City field!

In order for your job to appear on the relevant City website in the Engineering Jobs Network, it is important to include the name of that city in the City field. If your job is in a suburb, put the major city name in and explain in the ad what the exact location is. For example, if your job is in Bellevue, Washington (a suburb of Seattle), don't put Bellevue in the City field. Put Seattle in the City field and explain in the body of the ad that the job is in Bellevue. That way, your job will appear on:

Seattle
