Our client requires an Instrument Engineer, BSEE required with a minimum of 10 yrs experience in chemical plant maintenance and experience with various plant instrumentation systems, DCSs platforms, networks, communication schemes, control algorithms, etc. and demonstrates proficiency in the use of network communications, Honeywell DCSs, Computerized Maintenance Management (preferably SAP-PM), and PLC systems to eliminate instrument related issues which help drive to zero injuries and environmental incidents, maintain instrumentation files, records, and update histories as required, coordinates activities with DCS Engineer, identifies and eliminates “bad actors” instruments, drives upgrades and improvement plans to offset obsolescence, performs root cause failure analysis and corrective action plans on critical instrument failures, coordinates outage and tie-in activities as relating to project and maintenance work, creates, monitors and maintains instrument technical data by using SAP or ad hoc tools, develops and maintains effective predictive and preventive maintenance systems for the plant instrument systems.
