Specific Job Duties:

• Develop an effective quality management team responsible for the administration of activities that will ensure Customer satisfaction.
• Provide necessary support for offsite Customer Quality Liaisons to ensure the proper Customer focus is in place at their facilities.
• Support Customer base through a proactive approach to managing their quality and delivery requirements.
• Effectively communicate Customer concerns to appropriate Management team in a timely manner.
• Coordinate the collection, organization and distribution of non-conformance data related to Customer concerns, PPM’s, DMT’s or rejects.
• Review and negotiate quality concerns and PPM’s with the appropriate Customer(s) to minimize the impact to the company.
• Publish Customer performance charts and data on a monthly basis.
• Implement effective permanent corrective action plans in conjunction with Management and their delegates to ensure Customer satisfaction.
• Ensure 5-way reports and 8D’s are accurately completed and submitted to the Customer in a timely manner.
• Participate in the review of returned Customer product and assist in establishing continuous improvement plans to reduce the number of returned parts.
• Ensure all documentation related to Customer concerns is organized in accordance with procedures and TS-16949 requirements.
• Establish boundary samples / visual aids for all departments to help define and maintain consistent quality standards.
• Perform other duties as directed by Quality Systems Manager.
• Stable work history is essential.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites
• Knowledge of PPAP / Submission process systems or equivalent.
• Proficient in problem solving and root cause analysis.
• Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
• Blue print reading and GD&T.
• Knowledge of ISO/TS16949 and FMEA.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. An Associate’s Degree coupled with at least 5 years of relevant work experience in a soft interior auto parts industry may be substituted in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.

Will be offered a starting salary in the $50-60K range depending on experience. Benefits. Limited relocation assistance available. Preference for southeast region applicants. No one from northern locations.
