This is a senior level mechanical engineering position with the Northern Area Producing Engineering Department. The Capital Projects group provides proponent supports to Facilities Planning Department (FPD), Project Management Team (PMT), and other concern parties during the development of the Study, Design Basis Scoping Paper (DBSP), Project Proposal, Detail Design and Construction phases for all new projects that cover NAOO facilities which include Onshore and Offshore. The Capital Project Engineer will provide support and advice to all new projects that cover technical issues, operational improvements and other issues. The Capital Project Engineer works with other concern parties to define and develop project scope from start till the completion of the project. The new engineer should be familiar with Project Definition, Project Budget Briefs, Estimate Request (ER), Project Execution, etc.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

BS Mechanical Engineering. Candidate shall have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in project engineering supports for new projects on Hydrocarbon Facilities.
