Positions are titled as follows: Sr. Product Cost Team Leader, Advanced Drivetrain Cost Team Leader, Torque Converter Cost Team Leader, Cost Reduction Project Leader. Candidate must be able to legally work in the United States on a Permanent basis without any restrictions. Responsibilities: - gt; Leading cross-functional product teams to directly influence and drive the design for low cost solutions - gt; Provide support for cost expertise and strategy development for new product introduction and current production initiatives - gt; Perform complex analysis work and identify product cost reduction opportunities while leading supplier collaboration and coordinate product cost reduction workshops and projects - gt; Working with purchasing, manufacturing, logistics and many suppliers to drive the cost management process and produce low cost producer solutions Requirements: - gt; Must have previous mechanical design and product support experience with rotating components, drivetrain (transmission drives for large equipment - example: trains, industrial machinery, cranes, large trucks, etc) systems, AND - OR torque convertors - gt; A knowledge and experience in component manufacturing process, forging manufacturing process, foundry manufacturing process, or related experience is needed - gt; Proven experience with cost estimating, cost modeling, and a working collaboration with suppliers to optimize process - cost - gt; The following is a plus to understand the manufacturing process: APQP, 6 Sigma, CQE, DMAIC, or DMEDI BB, or related quality processes - gt; The following are desired qualifications: knowledge of electronic, mechanical and hydraulic systems and components, integrated engineering product development tools, Transmission design or development experience - gt; Must have leadership qualities to be a Team Leader and or Project Leader for projects and groups involved with cost reduction initiatives Benefits: - gt; Healthcare coverage, Dental Coverage, Vision Care Coverage, 401(K), Savings Plan, Pension Plan, Accident Insurance, Life Insurance, Financial Planning, Dependent Life Insurance, Vacation, Health Care Spending Account, Holidays, Educational Assistance Prog
