Description
Plans, designs and coordinates the development and implementation of processes related to support PosiFlush Operations world.
Provides technical support to the R&D PosiFlush development teams for the implementation of new products and be able to effectively communicate to all levels of management.
Provides technical support for PosiFlush production, and support trouble-shooting or continuous improvement efforts. Comply with all local BD quality policies, procedures and practices through consistent application of sound quality assurance principles.
The skill sets required for completing projects are concepting of processing automated equipment, implementing into production per project timeline and capital budget, documenting of operations, training and starting of production operations with in a team environment.
Qualifications
Responsibilities
1. Plan, implement and coordinate new process development activities that are affected by PosiFlush processes, as well as changes to the existing manufacturing processes if applicable. 2. Coordinate and carry out qualification and validation activities for new improved, processes, changes and transfers as required. 3. Focus on specific technical projects in manufacturing, technology, assembly, molding, packaging, or other engineering disciplines assigned by the Manager. 4. Coordinate and communicate assigned projects and their status with the appropriate personnel and departments. 5. Specify equipment, tooling and fixtures for new processes, or existing process changes. 6. Write capital expenditure requests for equipment, tooling and fixtures, as needed. 7. Install new equipment, tooling and fixtures to support new product development. Responsible for documentation and training. 8. Develop and implement processes for pilot production and scale-up programs. 9. Supervise technicians as required, to complete assigned projects. 10. Lead projects as assigned. 11. In own field of scientific/engineering competence, maintain up-to-date familiarity with developments through attendance at professional meetings, literature and consultations. 12. Comply with all local, state, federal, and BD safety regulations, policies, procedures. 13. Comply with all local BD quality policies, procedures, and practices through consistent application of sound quality assurance principles.
EDUCATION:
B.S. Degree in mechanical, manufacturing or a related science field.
EXPERIENCE:
Ten (10) years of experience in various engineering fields relating to manufacturing, process development, automation and equipment design preferred. Two to five years experience required.
SUPERVISION:
Potential for direct and indirect supervision in addition to the functional supervision and responsibility for all assigned projects.
ACCOUNTABILITY: All work is subject to review by the PAD Manager, PosiFlush operations Managers, and Platform team leader on a regular basis or at the conclusion of assigned projects.
