CONTROLS ENGINEER opportunity for a highly regarded firm in Louisiana, Utah, or Wyoming. Need good PLC Programming and HMI experience. Travel estimated up to 10%. Responsibilities: - gt; Design and implements PLC and HMI systems integrated into automated systems for natural gas processing plants, compression facilities, automated wellhead production equipment and liquid pumping stations - gt; Support field installations of HMI and-or PLC systems Requirements: - gt; BS Degree in related Engineering field - gt; Minimum 4+ years strong background in programming PLC and HMI systems in a related industry - gt; PLC systems experience including programming and configuration, communication capabilities, hardware configurations and power requirements - gt; HMI system experience including graphic packages, database implementation and maintenance, driver development and various communication protocols (RS232, RS485, radio, etc.) - gt; Working knowledge of ISA standards,electrical, automation and instrument systems, various test procedures and ladder logic - gt; Experience in testing, developing and implementing new programming and software applications, RTU and EFM configuration, scientific trouble shooting techniques, the use of various associated test equipment, RTU and EFM software packages, advanced skills using Microsoft operating systems, Excel and Word - gt; Ability to write self-documenting PLC programs, design user-friendly and intuitive HMI graphic screens, read and understand electrical schematics, P and IDs and wiring diagrams - gt; Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Benefits: - gt; Salary based on extent of overall directly related qualifications, depth of PLC and HMI system expertise, industry experience, training, and education - gt; Very nice Bonus potential - gt; Comprehensive benefits - gt; Relocation
