Large Corporation has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Senior Consulting Engineer Chemist with a minimum of Twelve (12) years experience to provide consulting services on a corporate wide basis to fossil electric generating plants. BS Engineering Degree required, with a PE License preferred. Must have expertise with development, implementation and oversight of chemistry of fossil generation plants. Relocation will be considered. Responsibilities: - gt; Responsible for support of Chemical safety, systems monitoring and audits - gt; Responsible for Boiler-HRSG and Steam Cycle Chemistry - gt; Responsible for Water Treatment Applications (DM, RO, EDI, MMF, UF, Clarifiers) and Wastewater Treatment - gt; Responsible for Laboratory procedures, OA-QC and Continuous Chemistry Performance Improvement - gt; Responsible for Plant water balances, Cooling towers, cooling lakes,essential spray ponds, closed cooling water systems and water resources management - gt; Will be responsible for scrubber chemistry and pollution control systems Requirements: - gt; Requires a BS Degree in Engineering or applied sciences field. Professional Engineer registration preferred - gt; Requires a minimum of 12 years of applied engineering or scientific environment experience or 10 years with a Masters or PhD - gt; Experience with Flow Accelerated Corrosion, Particle transport and erosion - gt; Must have experience with boiler-HRSG start-up, lay-up and shutdown - gt; Experience with ZLD PdM, Boiler chemical cleaning and Cathodic protection - gt; Must be able to lead or provide support of root cause an analysis audit compliance, policies, procedures for plant and regulatory compliance - gt; Experience with developing policies, procedures, and training material and working as a Subject Matter Expert as required Benefits: - gt; Full benefit package - gt; Relocation will be considered
