Manufacturing client is looking for a Sr. Welding Technician-Welding Engineer with 10+ years of experience developing, maintaining, and documenting welding processes, procedures and technologies in accordance with ASME pressure part and pressure vessel codes and standards. Responsibilities: - gt; Continuously develop and improve welding processes, procedures, and technology for an ASME pressure part fabrication shop - gt; Ensure qualification of welders, welding processes and procedures, and welding technology - gt; Ensure compliance and conformance with codes, regulations, and customer requirements - gt; Interact with process planning, engineering, manufacturing, and project execution in welding related issues - gt; Administer weld test examinations and assist in upgrading welders skills as needed Requirements: - gt; 10+ years of experience as a Welding Technician or Engineer supporting ASME pressure vessel fabrication and manufacturing - gt; Expert level in developing and improving welding processes, procedures, and technologies related to ASME pressure part codes and standards - gt; Current CWI certification - gt; Weld overlay experience is considered a plus Benefits: - gt; Excellent Pay - gt; Full benefits - gt; Potential bonus program - gt; 401k - gt; Relocation assistance
