A world-class manufacturing company is seeking Mechanical Engineers with 3 to 5 years of industrial project experience to lead the design and installation of new highly-automated manufacturing equipment. Locations are Columbia, Greenville, and Spartanburg SC, and in the Fort Wayne IN area. Outstanding benefits and relocation package. Responsibilities: - gt; Use your experience in industrial plant capital projects to lead the plant capital project program to install new automated high speed manufacturing equipment - gt; You will be responsible for design, fabrication, installation and startup of material handling equipment, automated assembly machinery, boilers, compressors, and the like - gt; You will evaluate current processes, develop improvement projects, prepare estimates, schedules, and bid packages, and lead the installation and commissioning of the equipment as well - gt; You will oversee outside contractors used in the projects - gt; You will provide technical support to maintenance on problem resolution and training on the new equipment, and consult on existing equipment as needed Requirements: - gt; BS in Mechanical Engineering - gt; 3 to 5 years industrial experience in a manufacturing plant - gt; High speed automation installation, operations, and maintenance experience - gt; Project management experience - gt; Experience using AutoCAD and SolidWorks Benefits: - gt; Outstanding benefits including insurance, holidays, vacation - gt; Pension and 401k
