Product Design Engineer
Our client is looking to fill a Product Design Engineer position. The PDE applies extensive technical expertise to develop new and improve existing product designs. Product design includes development, analysis, prototyping and testing.
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Plans, conducts and implements product research, development, prototyping and testing to create superior designs of new or upgraded products.
- Develops and and implements production and technical support in product design process.
- Provides technical recommendations for product line.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience, including exposure to and proficiency in multiple engineering disciplines.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Adept at problem solving, must be proactive and action oriented for timely problem resolution .
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
- Exceptional organization, time management and multi-tasking skills are essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor''s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Engineering degree is required. (Required, not a preference)
