JOB TITLE: Electrical Reliability Engineer

Our client requires an Electrical Reliability Engineer, BSEE or BSET mandatory with 5+ years experience performing maintenance related tasks in an oil refinery or petrochemical plant environment – prefer some exposure to Maximo, Excel and Autocad and have substantial experience interpreting one line electrical drawings, P&IDs and control schematics, have some exposure to general electrical related calculations in regards to power and performance parameters of electrical equipment. Individual will perform root cause failure analysis principles through activities including product research, design of installations, equipment evaluations, equipment selection, installation and maintenance of electrical equipment and related systems, ensure that electrical equipment and installations meet refinery and industry standard specifications and provide guidance for maintenance repairs and construction contractors as necessary. Individual will be expected to improve availability of electrical equipment through the proper use of maintenance activities and predictive maintenance technologies, improve quality of electrical construction and maintenance activites by timely results and audits, implement or use new technologies, and reduce maintenance costs of the electrical equipment.
