A company located in Northeast is looking for a Principal Engineer with lithium-ion process and product development experience. Responsibilities: - gt; Serve as a leader on multiple development projects involving evaluation of new materials through designed experiments, proving out new cell designs, processing nano-materials into electrodes, and investigate-resolve problems - gt; Write procedures, specifications, and reports and prepare presentations for customers - gt; Work as a part of a team to transition products from development to production. Requirements: - gt; MS in Chemical or Materials Engineering required. PhD preferred - gt; 5 to 10 years of high quality hands-on experience with lithium-ion process and product development required - gt; Must have experience with using advanced anode and cathode materials - gt; Experience with materials characterization, electrolytes, electrochemical cell designs, electrode processing, and testing - gt; Must have expertise in interpretation of material and cell test data and in destructive physical analysis of products - gt; Must have knowledge of metal joining and multi-layer laminate heat sealing techniques - gt; Good verbal, written, and computer skills are required. - gt; Must be a U.S. Citizenship with ability to attain clearance upon hire required Benefits: - gt; Great benefits
