A gas processing plant in southern Maryland on the Chesapeake Bay is looking for a Plant Operations Engineer to support operations, maintenance, and capital projects in the plant. Must know natural gas transmission, compression, and project management. Relocation assistance is available for the right person. Responsibilities: - gt; Use your experience in natural gas processing and transmission to provide engineering and technical support to a world class natural gas processing plant - gt; Develop cost effective solutions to plant problems and implement them, from concept to commissioning - gt; Manage capital and expense projects to improve the plant and the process, including design, permitting, managing contractors, and project startup - gt; Ensure that all projects, maintenance, and operations follow OSHA and DOT requirements - gt; Prepare designs and drawings using AutoCAD Requirements: - gt; BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering - gt; Extensive working experience in natural gas processing, gas transmission, or Liquefied Natural Gas ( LNG ) field operations, construction, and processing, including piping, storage, handling, pressure relief - gt; Self starter, able to work effectively in a fast paced environment, great planning and organizational skills - gt; Project management experience including budgeting, estimating, contractor management - gt; Knowledge of regulatory requirements including DOT, NFPA, OSHA, etc - gt; Experience using AutoCAD - gt; EIT or PE is a plus Benefits: - gt; Full insurance package - gt; Excellent relocation package
