THINK Client has immediate contract job opportunities in the Chicago, IL area for 3 engineering candidates with UG- Siemens NX6 modeling - integration expertise within the automotive engine industry. This is a super opportunity for the right people in a great area. Responsibilities: - gt; Become part of a team that provides CAD related services that increase the effectiveness of CAD in achieving engine program objectives - gt; Act as liaison between the program teams and the end users in achieving favorable end results - gt; Timely response to day-to-day CAD usage issues - gt; Develop, implement and support methods and processes to improve the flow of CAD data throughout related departments - gt; Development and documentation of best practices (methods) including review and evaluation of existing practices, and identification, pilot and implementation of ancillary software applications (integration) Requirements: - gt; BS Technical Degree and-or 5 years related experience with proven accomplishments - gt; Proven experience in using SIEMENS NX6 Modeling, Assembly and Drafting also Team Center Unified with NX integration - gt; Understanding of the design-manufacturing processes and the various engineering roles within them - gt; Knowledge of Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles - gt; Highly developed communication and interface skills in working with internal and external customers
