Senior RF Electronic Design Engineer with commercial design and test experience related to RF electronic equipment and electronic hardware systems. Immediate Need.. for this direct hire position with a large manufacturing company located in Western North Dakota. Responsibilities: - gt; Design, modify, and evaluate electronic products and testers for use in rugged environments to meet quality, delivery, and cost goals - gt; Design new RF based products and testers that meet customer, reliability, and quality requirements with the involvement of manufacturing-mechanical-software engineers, and supply management - gt; Perform worst case RF and mixed signal design analysis, simulations, and design verification to ensure electronic assemblies meet the requirements of harsh environments for the vehicle applications - gt; Conduct experimental tests and evaluate results, including electromagnetic compliance, electromagnetic immunity, highly accelerated life test, as well as various electrical and environmental tests Requirements: - gt; Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with RF (Radio Frequency) emphasis - gt; 5+ years of commercial design and test experience related to RF electronic equipment and electronic hardware systems - gt; Experience and skill in the areas of RF design and analysis up to 6 GHz frequency spread spectrum wireless communication and signal processing - gt; Experience and skill in satellite communications, GPS receiver system-level design, GPS signal processing and navigation, RF design, embedded microcontroller systems, and real-time embedded software is a plus - gt; Practical experience testing RF designs in a manufacturing environment and experience with National Instruments LabView, and AWR Microwave Office is also beneficial Benefits: - gt; 401(k) Plan - gt; Paid sick leave and vacation - gt; Excellent health and dental benefits - gt; Generous relocation package offered
