A leader in the power industry has an immediate requirement for an exceptional person to fill the role of Protection and Control Engineer. Person must have electric utility substation protection and controls experience. Relocation is negotiable for right candidate. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Responsibilities: - gt; Responsible for the Engineering of Electric Utility Substation Protection and Control systems for new projects and for upgrades - gt; Direct designers in the development of project drawings and in the specification of equipment - gt; Develop programmable logic, develop test plans and directing the execution - gt; Provide Project Management skills and Cost Control techniques on all assignments Requirements: - gt; Bachelors in Engineering and 5+ years experienceor a Masters in Engineering along with 3+ years experience - gt; Must have proven track record and skills in one of the following four - gt; Protection and Control Design for bulk electric system facilities (BES) - gt; Protective relay settings analysis of BES facilities - gt; SCADA digital communication protocols applied for field device integration and control - gt; Programmable logic control devices and or protective relays - gt; Considered a plus if experienced with Schweitzer Engineering Labs equipment or Aspen OneLiner - gt; Experienced in use of job specific software e.g. Energy Control, Distribution Automation, Outage Management Systems Benefits: - gt; Excellent Benefits - gt; Health Care Choices
