Outstanding opportunity for an industrial plant Electrical Engineer with automation experience in the Columbia SC area. You will manage capital project expansion of the plant as well as provide hands-on technical support for day to day operations. Responsibilities: - gt; Use your experience in industrial electrical engineering to support the manufacturing processes and equipment on projects that range from simple modifications of existing machinery to large-scale expansion projects - gt; Design, specify, purchase and oversee installation of electrical systems for a high speed automated manufacturing line - gt; Electrical systems in the plant include motors, substations, raceways, switchgear, PLCs, and motor controls, from 13.8 kV down to 480V - gt; Complete projects on the fire alarms, lighting, telecom, and computer systems as needed - gt; Be involved hands-on with equipment and processes by being available to the operators and maintenance personnel and gaining intimate knowledge of the process Requirements: - gt; BS in Electrical Engineering - gt; 3 to 7 years hands-on experience with industrial electrical distribution systems design, operations, and maintenance - gt; Experience with high speed automated manufacturing lines - gt; Experience with lighting, control components, process instrumentation, and discrete devices - gt; Experience with maintenance of high, medium, and low voltage electrical systems - gt; Experience with PLCs and PLC programming languages such as RSLogix Benefits: - gt; Outstanding benefits including insurance, holidays, vacation - gt; Pension and 401k
