A leading manufacturer of electrical Power System transformers located in the Southern part of the United States is actively interviewing for a Transformer Design Engineer that is experienced in Medium Power Transformer Design. Relocation is negotiable for the right candidate. Client will consider candidates requiring visa sponsorship. Responsibilities: - gt; Design, implement and maintain commercial and industrial electric medium power transformers according to industry standards - gt; Design distribution and power products and components such as windings, cleats, leads and transformer tank design - gt; Improve efficiency and quality of design, for manufacturing process of single phase pad mounted transformers - gt; Supervise and Train in house designers and drafters - gt; Investigate and test vendor and competitor products, technologies and general practices Requirements: - gt; Bachelors degree Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineer - gt; Knowledgeable of medium power transformers ranging from 10 to 100 MVA and up to 230 kV high side voltage supply - gt; Must have demonstrated experience in the design of medium power transformer - gt; 5 years experience in Medium power Transformer Design - gt; Project Management skills and supervision experience Benefits: - gt; Health and Life Insurance - gt; Vacation and holidays
