A well respected and growing mid-sized industrial boiler company specializing in the in house fabrication and field construction of specialty boilers and related equipment is seeking a BSME degreed Boiler Engineer for a direct hire position just outside of New Orleans, LA. Responsibilities: -> You will be responsible for boiler, air heater or economizer design including heat transfer, pressure drop, and combustion calculations -> Design work will also include designing boiler systems ductwork, piping, and pressure parts along with combustion controls and PandID s Requirements: -> BSME with 5-10 years experience with previously boiler, air heater or economizer company -> Capable of doing and has experience with ASME Section I boiler calcs a must Section VIII calcs a bonus -> Candidate must have exp with heat transfer calculations for boiler, air heaters and economizers -> Previous experience and capability with pressure drop calculations along with boiler combustion calculations -> Exp with designing boiler systems duct work, piping, and pressure parts, and be familiar with welding procedures used in Section I or Section VIII of the ASME code -> Familiarity with combustion controls and PandIDS -> Experience working with 3D modeling Benefits: -> Excellent upside potential with a growing company -> Excellent salary that is commensurate with experience -> Bonus program based on project profitability -> Client will offer relocation assistance for the right candidate
