Civil Engineer – Sr. Process Engineer (Wastewater)

Key Responsibilities

• Assess quality of water sources for municipal and systems.
• Evaluating condition, performance and capacity of existing water treatment works.
• Undertaking studies for new and upgraded facilities, including community/industry needs assessment, review of alternative schemes, recommending best alternatives.
• Leading the development of appropriate treatment process trains to achieve wastewater treatment standards for municipal and industrial clients.
• Planning, design and construction management of wastewater treatment and pumping facilities.
• Leading design teams on wastewater projects. Preparing reports, approvals, submissions and other project documentation.
• Ensuring the design is in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
• Knowledge of MB environmental regulations and guidelines pertaining to wastewater treatment and effluent requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering preferred.
• 10 years relevant experience in wastewater facility engineering studies and design.
• Experience in computer analysis of wastewater treatment processes.
• Licensed Professional Engineering a Canadian jurisdiction.
• Experience in engineering consulting will be considered an asset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project ect.
