Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and direct resources to best serve the needs of your clients.
• Provide training, support and mentoring for the Municipal team in Alberta North.
• Support business development initiatives and build strong client relationships.
• Prepare proposals, cost estimates and provide project management.
• Assist with the preparation, tendering and administration of contracts.
• Perform all other related tasks that will help complete the project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or all other equivalent training.
• Professional Engineer status with 7 or more years experience in a progressive, related position.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects, administer contracts and control budgets.
• Proficient in Municipal Engineering design and client management.
• Specializing in land development, water, waste water, roads, earthworks, storm water management and or subdivisions.
• Supervision of design of specific projects, including coordination of drafting, guidance of technical staff, client liaison, technical reviews, preparation of project specifications and resolving various engineering problems.
• Ability to manage and coordinate numerous projects at once.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain existing business relationships and build new ones.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
