JOB TITLE: Technician-Lead /Structured Cabling/Telecom

A growing Telecommunications Company is searching for a Lead Technician for its Anaheim location. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities: -> Manage the daily operations of structured cabling projects -> Implement best practices and industry standards in structured communications cabling systems and supporting infrastructure -> Understand the issues associated with installing pathway systems and inside/outside plant cabling -> Convey technology infrastructure needs, drawings, and specifications that are integrated into architectural and engineering design -> Lead a team of technicians, read drawings, inspect, and follow up on assigned project -> Upgrade and run fiber for security CCTV -> Install pathway systems and inside/outside plant cabling Requirements: -> High School Diploma or GED -> BICSI/RCDD certification and CAD experience -> A minimum of 3 years commercial structured cabling systems experience -> Experience in technology spaces such as server rooms, riser rooms, MPOEs, BDFs, BDFs, and IDFs -> Cabling pathways experience (Including conduits, cable trays, and conveyance methods) -> Working knowledge in structured communications cabling systems (Including horizontal, backbone, and riser cabling) -> Cable administration and cable management experience -> CAT5/CAT6 and single and multi-mode fiber experience -> Working knowledge in telecommunications carrier entrance facilities, capacity planning, duct sizing, pull-box, vault sizing, resilient network design, trenching, backfill specifications, grounding, and lighting protection -> Manufactures/ product experience in Sumitomo, Panduit, Mohawk, Cisco, or Corning is preferred Benefits: -> Paid Vacation -> 401K -> Health Insurance, and more...
