Houston-based E&P company is looking for and HSE Manager specializing in air quality.
Description: • Lead team in managing and coordinating air related projects across multiple business units. • Develop staffing needs to meet needs of the business units related to managing the company’s air related data. • Collect, load and manage emissions data in GHG and/or air permitting software and maintain for accuracy • Stay current on changes to the Clean Air Act. Recommend a compliance strategy and assist HSE Operations Staff with their implementation efforts • Research current and future trend data on GHG issues and their potential effect on the company • Represent the company when dealing with agencies, partners, 3rd party contractors with respect to GHG issues • Develop and/or assist HSE Operations Staff in the compilation of data for compliance reports and verify them for accuracy • Conduct in-house audits for compliance with air permits and GHG data • Assist in the training of HSE Staff members on changes in air regulations and/or compliance processes
Requirements: • Worked as part of a functioning HSE Department • Strong working knowledge of Clean Air Act, Title V Permitting and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) reporting • Provide technical assistance to the HSE Operations Staff with regard to GHG reporting and compliance obligations associated with air permitting • Be able to facilitate “Air” projects and/or compliance issues across multi—departments and/or Business Units • Oil and gas experience a strong plus • Strong Communicator—both written and verbal Experience: • 7—12 Years HSE Experience
Education: • BS Degree in Environmental Engineering or equivalent Salary: $100K+ Job Code: 2000152
