The qualified candidate will have a BS in Mechanical Engineering with preferably 1 - 5 years experience with product development and technical support of down hole drilling equipment.  Preference for experience with drill string design and torque and drag analysis.  The candidate must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as strong interpersonal skills, strong work history and oilfield experience.  Travel required (approximately 20%) in North and South America and infrequently to Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.  Participation in training program required (California).  Position based in Houston and reports to Director of Engineering in California.  Recent graduates considered.  Required GPA:  3.0 +

Duties include, but not limited to the following:

1.  Direct customer support in analyzing well conditions for client to determine if our product is appropriate for client''s need, prepare engineer analysis reports, make technical recommendations for drilling operations.  2. Test equipment in development stages.  3. Full scale product testing.  4. Ongoing manufacturing support, including detailed documentation.  5. International travel 20% of time to train, to give support to client or to take part in engineering symposiums.  6. Technical support to Sales including technical presentations, seminars and trouble shooting.  7. Product performance investigations.
