JOB TITLE: Engineer-Total Quality/ISO 9001/Auditing

Well established Steel forger in eastern area of Pennsylvania needs a Quality Assurance Engineer with 3+ years hands on experience with and a working knowledge of ISO 9001 Standard requirements and Total Quality Methodology and tools Responsibilities: -> Assisting operating personnel with problem solving to determine root cause and corrective action -> Establishing the key data to be collected for process control to support and/or monitor continuous improvement in product characteristic stability, predictability and capability -> Facilitating/managing projects or teams -> Maintenance of separate quality documentation systems for compliance with ISO 9000 and ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section III NCA 3800 (Commercial Nuclear Compliance) -> Planning, conducting and documenting internal audits, and audits of suppliers materials, services, and compliance, as well as customers and third parties -> Provide training, in the areas of: Quality Awareness and the use of quality tools and techniques, such as statistical analysis Requirements: -> B.S. in Materials Science Engineering, Metallurgy or Mechanical -> 3+ years QA experience in an industrial environment -> PLUS: Experience in the industrial metals or power generation industry -> Grounding in Total Quality methodology and tools -> Hands on experience with and a working knowledge of ISO 9001 Standard requirements -> Familiarity with the requirements of ASME Section III NCA 3800 and 10 CFR 50 Appendix B -> PREFERRED: Auditing experience (Auditor qualification or certification) -> Training and experience in problem solving techniques Benefits: -> Strong bonus potential up to 40% of base -> Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates -> Full Benefits -> 401K
