Engineer 5 - Payload Engineer This position Reports to the Payload IPT Lead. Responsible for Maritime Radar integration and test on the Fire Scout VTUAV. This role will support Maritime Radar integration activities including: requirements development, specifications, design, trade studies, integration, flight demonstrations, test and delivery as well as proposal efforts. The candidate will provide payload integration expertise to the Air Vehicle, Avionics, Control Segment, Test, Software, Product Delivery, and Support segments. Also responsible for cost/schedule reporting.Basic Qualifications: Bachelor of science degree in Engineering or equivalent plus a minimum of 14 years of experience, or MS with 12 years experience. Five years of airborne radar systems experience is mandatory. Candidate must have demonstrated cost, schedule, and technical management experience. Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance is required. Preferred Qualifications: Current DoD Secret clearance desired. Technical experience with UAVs and other payloads such as Electro-Optics, Lasers, and Weapons is highly desired.
