Responsible for providing technicial and managerial oversight of the Mechanical Engineering Section. This person will be the key contact for the integration section with responsibility for engineering quality, schedule , and cost performance throughout all phases of a project. Includes responsibility for proposal phase, design review, integration and customer acceptance. These activites will require the inherent ability to determine airworthiness of various mechanical systems and subsystems, ensuring that both program and customer requirements are achieved. Duties include 1) Direct supervision and technical oversight of design and analysis engineers 2) Manage the engineering program objectives including ensuring compliance and contract requirements , tracking EVMS and coordinate resource needs across various programs 3) Serve as subject matter expert for the mechanical engineering group in the application of improved concepts, principles and processes 4) Redline or establish design criteria for the mechanical engineering section as a whole and on a program basis as required. 5) Position requires an intensive background investigation at customer level. Candidate must possess a current security clearance and be willing to comply with back ground investigation requirements. Relocation Assistance Available. Security Clearance Required.

Salary: $100K+
