The primary focus of this position is planning, organizing, and directing maintenance efforts at plant site. This person will supervise a team of skilled maintenance technicians and work closely with operations. The Maintenance Superintendent is responsible for maintaining plant equipment in a safe and cost efficient mode and assist in trouble shooting plant equipment problems. Maintenance Superintendent will aid Production Superintendent and Plant Manager in developing annual budget and controlling costs to same.

Current Maintenance Management experience in a chemical manufacturing environment, including: development and maintenance of a comprehensive Preventative Maintenance Program, development and oversight of work order system(s); installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and other utility systems & equipment; design and installation of complex mechanical systems; supervision and oversight of internal maintenance personnel and outside maintenance contractors; and the development and implementation of maintenance related SOP(s) and policies.
