Job Description:
o Manage Geotechnical Department
o Review Geotechnical Reports making sure they are technically sound and get out on time
o Answer clients questions
o Attend scope meeting with clients
o Manage four- to six Geotechnical Engineers
o Help the President hire new engineers
o Manage the engineers, the Geotechnical Laboratory and Drilling Department
o Free up the President of the company to focus on marketing and getting jobs
Typical Projects:
Geotech Engineering and Testing projects consist of Transportation, Land Development, Water and Wastewater, Petrochemical, Aviation, Commercial Development, Port and Harbor Facilities, Industrial Facilities, etc.
Requirements:
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with a minimum of Masters or Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in Geotechnical Engineering. Candidate must possess strong management, technical and communication skills.
