Responsibilities:

1. Lead, control and complete engineering projects, including the design, testing, costing, evaluating and liaison with Manufacturing Engineering to ensure manufacturability.

2. Work with CADD personnel to ensure Engineering drawings are prepared on-time and meet drafting and company standards.

3. Maintain current specifications for the product and components according to the company’s Standards and regulatory requirements.

4. Liaise with approval agencies to obtain certification and regulatory requirements.

5. Review product Change requests and determine response and action required.

6. Provide technical support for product, as required from plant, other departments and customers.

7. Research current technologies re current and future use and application and provide direction to new product development and marketing direction.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years experience in combustion, heat transfer design and technology application
• Previous experience in bringing product designs to production
• Experience with project management tools and software
• Eligible for membership in the Association of professional Engineers of Ontario
