The primary focus of this position is planning, organizing, and directing maintenance efforts atplant site. This person will supervise a team of skilled technicians and work closely with operations. Duties of the position will includesupervising maintenance employees (mechanical and electrical and instrumentation) and a warehouse clerk. The Maintenance Superintendent is responsible for maintaining plant equipment in a safe and cost efficient mode. The Maintenance Superintendent will assist in trouble shooting plant equipment problems. Maintenance Superintendent will aid Production Superintendent and Plant Manager in developing annual budget and controlling costs to same.

A degree in Engineering and at least 3-5 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment, and at least 1-3 years supervisory experience. Candidates should also have a working knowledge of regulatory requirements applicable to the chemical industry and must be "hands on". Experience with chemical processes and any project engineering experience a plus.
