JOB TITLE: Engineer-Electrical/Power Plant/Maintenance

Power Generation client is looking for a Sr. Electrical Plant Engineer with 10-20 years of operations and maintenance experience in a power plant environment. You will spend 75% of the time working on systems, equipment and projects inside the plant and the other 25% of the time, you will work on high voltage, TandD and Substation equipment, systems and projects outside the plant. You need a BSEE or MSEE degree. A PE license would be a plus. You must be a hands on Plant Engineer. Client offers excellent pay, benefits, 20% potential performance bonus, and relocation package. Salary is commensurate with experience. Responsibilities: -> Perform hands on operations and maintenance duties on all electrical power plant equipment and systems -> Maintain and Operate TandD and Substation high voltage electrical equipment and systems -> Manage electrical plant projects by supervising contractors, vendors and consultants -> Perform engineering inspections, evaluations, designs and recommendations for a wide range of high voltage power plant electrical equipment and systems -> Review plant electrical related operational and equipment problems that result in poor performance, reduced availability, loss of efficiency, or loss of capacity -> You will be involved with construction, startup and testing of the electrical equipment and systems -> Manage electrical projects in the plant by supervising contractors, vendors, and consultants to assure projects are completed within budget and on schedule Requirements: -> 10+ years of experience as an Electrical Plant Engineer working in an operating power plant -> Hands on experience designing, operating, maintaining and inspecting generators, motors, batteries, relays, circuit breakers, switchgear , transformers and field instrumentation -> BSEE or MSEE degree. PE license a PLUS -> Specific hands on operations and maintenance experience on high voltage TandD and Substation equipment and systems -> Solid understanding of equipment testing, evaluation, calibration techniques, etc Benefits: -> 401k -> 20% performance bonus -> Excellent Benefits -> Relocation Package
