A leading manufacturer of active pharmaceutical ingredients and registered intermediates located in the Sacramento, CA area is actively searching for Process Control Engineers. Responsibilities: -> Data collection and tracking. Oversee plant operations -> Operating procedure changes, PandID (piping and instrumentation) configuration control -> Process design, create PandID s, bid documents, oversee modifications -> Misc. overhead support of facility -> May involve weekend and off-shift work, especially during process start-ups -> Working with chemicals to produce pharmaceutical intermediates as well as final API s Requirements: -> Bachelor s of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering -> A minimum of 3 years of direct chemical manufacturing experience in a pharmaceutical production environment -> Familiarity with cGMP requirements and FDA compliance -> Experience in working with Chemical Operations -> Knowledge of Q7A -> Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Manufacturing experience -> Some experience on the floor eg, shift supervisor or process demonstrations -> Good understanding of cGMPs, validation (process and or cleanout) -> Exposed to batch type operations is a plus Benefits: -> Relocation Assistance -> Competitive Salary DOE -> Comprehensive benefits -> Great California climate without the coastal housing costs
