JOB TITLE: Engineer-Life Science/Research Products/Support

Leading life-science systems manufacturer is actively searching for a Field Technical Support Specialist in the San Francisco area. Responsibilities: -> Provides technical support and guidance to customers on the operation and maintenance of product lines -> Serves as the primary customer contact on technical and service related issues -> Product installation and customer training involving software, hardware, and chemistry -> Pre and post sales support in conjunction with Sales and Marketing teams -> Experiment design, execution, and data analysis, including report generation -> Instrument hardware and software troubleshooting, often under challenging conditions Requirements: -> An educational background in Engineering (prefer Mechanical) -> A Bachelor’s degree (required) or advanced degree (preferred) and 5 years of experience is expected -> Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or Chemistry experience is a strong plus -> Prior engineering or software experience also desirable -> Ability to travel up to 75% of the time (mostly domestic, some international) Benefits: -> Fantastic Benefits Package
