The Integrated Systems Division, which is part of ATK Mission Systems, has an opportunity for a candidate who will be a high level technical resource providing systems level requirements analysis and direction to program managers and functional management specifically focused in the Strike Weapons and Avionics Integration technologies and programs. This is a consultative & technical position reporting to the VP of Engineering and will be the systems resource for new and existing programs and technologies for the IS division. This position will provide to the Program Manager oversight of technical and programmatic progress and results and up-to-date reports and status based on systems requirements.

The Integrated Systems Division is a capabilities-based organization with competencies in systems engineering and architecture design, software development, modeling & simulation, specialized component development, subsystem development, system and platform integration and test, aircraft modification and FAA certification.

Job Profile
- Provide systems concepts and architecture definition and analysis for major weapon systems to include missile system, electronic warfare (EW) systems such as warning receivers, smart weapons and avionics sensor suite.
Insure that programs perform the following:
- Define and generate top level requirements and requirements allocation to subsystems
- Interface these requirements to other support systems as appropriate
- Perform system trade studies using simulations such as 6-DOF, MATLAB or others, to assess feasibility of the concept and to develop requirements
- Develop system specifications from the Prime Item Development Specs (PIDs), flow down, manage and trace requirements
- Develop top-level Test Plans to support system testing
- Work with other engineering groups to further refine system requirements and support requirements Verification and Validation (V&V)
- Lead internal IRAD efforts aimed at capturing new business

Preferred Experience & Education
- BS in Engineering or Physics
- 15 years Systems Engineering experience in the following areas: Aerial Targets development and testing, Avionics Sensor Suites, GNC (Guidance, Navigation and Controls), Target Concept of Operations, Test Range Interface requirements
- Knowledgeable of systems design; requirements development and management; integration and test; risk management and cost analysis
- Experience working with flow down of weapon systems requirements to multiple sensors (mainly Navy platforms).
- US Citizenship required and ability to obtain DoD secret clearance
