Construction Science and Engineering, Inc. (CSE) has an immediate opening for a qualified engineer or architect, to perform forensic investigations on existing buildings.
Job Description:
The successful candidate should be a licensed engineer or architect, with a minimum of three (3) years of experience. Alternatively (in the absence of qualified, licensed candidates), a non-licensed engineer (EIT) will be considered. Registration as a RRO, RRC or RWC is desirable, but not required.
The available position will require travel to locations in the southeast U.S., but primarily in SC. Applicants must be able to perform visual surveys of existing buildings, determine the extent of defects and/or damages, perform basic research, prepare written reports and repair scopes. Expert testimony may also be required in cases involving litigation.
Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience. The available position includes excellent benefits such as a Simple IRA; performance bonuses; and medical, dental, life and disability insurance. Salary: $55,000 to $95,000
