Job Summary

• As a Manufacturing Engineer with PLC and CNC experience will maintain automated production lines for the assembly of automotive parts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Plans utilization of facilities, equipment, materials and personnel to improve efficiency of operations.
• Create and maintain plant layouts using plantCAD or comparable software.
• Conducts studies to determine the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow.
• Develop process flow for production process.
• Identify capital equipment requirements based on capacity studies.
• Ability to oversee CNC machinery including programming and trouble shooting
• Contributes to the development of budgets and forecasts.
• Prepares cost estimates for proposed projects
• Assumes project management responsibilities as necessary
• At higher levels, may provide functional guidance, advice, or training to less experienced Industrial Engineers.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience required

• 4 year degree in mechanical, industrial, electrical or manufacturing engineering preferred. Work experienceshould include PLC & CNC Machining. Prior experience in automotive industry preferred.

Computer Skills

• Intermediate or advanced knowledge of the following applications: RS Logix, Panelbuilder, AutoCAD 2002.

Starting Salary

• Starting salary in the $55-70K depending on experience. 2-5 years best fit. Relocation assistance.
